Pelatihan Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk Anak bagi Tenaga Pendidik TK dan PAUD

Abstract
Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yang dilaksanakan ini adalah pelatihan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris bagi guru PAUD dan TK di Kecamatan Sedayu dengan berkolaborasi dengan Lazismu Sedayu. Tim pengabdi menawarkan adanya inisiasi kegiatan dari guru, oleh guru, dan untuk guru yang disebut MeGuru sebagai wadah pengembangan profesionalisme guru PAUD, TK, dan SD khususnya dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris. Pelatihan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris bagi guru PAUD dan TK yang tergabung dalam IGABA Kecamatan Sedayu ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga sesi selama 90 menit untuk setiap sesinya. Dalam pelatihan ini, para peserta diberi paparan mengenai media dan teknik pengajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk anak usia dini. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan program, tim pengusul memberikan survei untuk mengukur tingkat sikap para guru TK dan PAUD di Kecamatan Sedayu dalam mengajarkan Bahasa Inggris kepada murid mereka. Survei diberikan sebelum dan setelah program kemitraan masyarakat. Hasil survei sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan pengajaran Bahasa Inggris bagi tenaga pendidik di lingkup IGABA Sedayu menunjukkan adanya peningkatan sebesar 14,2%. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa tenaga pendidik di IGABA Sedayu mempunyai persepsi yang lebih baik terkait pengajaran Bahasa Inggris bagi anak usia dini. Hal ini juga sejalan dengan respon dari para peserta pengabdian yang menunjukkan antusiasme selama mengikuti pengabdian ini
